"Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something."

To a world that has seemed so depressed.

I find solace in the peace.
I can't help but question
there really is no escaping hell.

There's only a cage
if you put yourself there
closing the doors and
turning the lock,
from the inside

You're only an empty body
when you release all your
insides, and forget how to
swallow in air.

You've found a cave.
And I'll lead you out of there,
if you'd only lean against me. . .
let go of the slippery walls.

I find comfort in your ear.
I can't help but complain.
but yet I don't mind
there's really no one but you here.

There's no avoiding topics,
there's just taking a moment
to attempt once again to swallow
in your air.
We just need the rain to fall,
the sky has been begging to break
open for days now.
