there is no greater joy than
eating sandwiches we've just made
because we don't care to spend the
money to eat our weight in other
things;
i'll forever make my plates out of
papertowels, and set the table on
the floor.
if it means i'm saving money,
i'll pinch my way through couch
cushions to find spare change.

cos we both know the best dates
come for free-
i could stare at you for hours
as long as you don't mind looking
back at me.

I'd do this and so much more
for i know one day you'll make
it where you're meant to be.
