Finals are over :D and it's time to begin Christmas break!
I think that I got a little too stressed out about finals. Last night, I did not get to bed until nearly 12:30, and I woke up at 4:30... without being able to sleep. I had a terrible nightmare (I'll share this later on in the post) and finally gave in and just stayed awake. When I got to school today, I sucked down a RedBull and took my tests. I don't think that the RedBull was a good idea. In fact, I think I'm having a bad reaction to it.
On the drive home, I looked down at my hands and noticed that they were bright blue. Now, normally this wouldn't bother me because they sometimes turn blue when my iron is low but this time it was different. This time I got the idea of shoving up my sleeves... and to my shock, my wrists were also the color of a blueberry. I pulled over to the side of the road and untied my shoes and took them off, recognizing that there was some problem with my circulation, and my feet were blue as well. I sat for a few minutes with the heat on, and drank a bottle of water. Within the few minutes I sat there, my hands went back to the normal shade of translucent white, and my feet did as well. I drove the rest of the way home with my socks and shoes off.
Now, I'm not certain that RedBull could cause such a thing to happen, but it wasn't until after I had drank the bottle of water that circulation came back into my hands. So who knows. I tried calling my mom, and she hasn't answered her phone so I will just wait until she comes home.
So about my nightmare. Well, at least... what I can remember of it.
I remember that I was with Jen and we were driving on a road trip. We got pulled over by a cop, and while we were pulled over someone drove past and shot at the cop. We were told to get down... and out of fear Jen ran from the car, off the shoulder and into the woods. There was a steep hill. The person shooting pulled over and chased after Jen. So I ran after her as well. We got away.
But I can remember the landscape so vividly. It was almost like a field that used to be wetlands, with trees shooting up, moist with moss. The trees stood tall like cathedral pillars, majestic but swaying in the wind. The light shot down at the floor of the leafy cathedral, like little stars bursting into supernovas. You'd get lost in the rays.
