Well. Things are a bit intense over in Lauren-land. I have been working a lot and doing the whole school thing. By the end of the day, I just want to pass out on my bed. I've been watching more TV than I think I ever have in my life. Just because I don't feel like doing anything that requires thought.
Okay, not to sound like a broken record... but BLANKETS is awesome. You've probably heard that already from my boyfriend's page. I read it in one sitting (of course, like there is any other way to read?!) It was a nice little break from books of Acadamia. (however, do not take that statement to mean it was absolutely simple... it stretched me in thought and made me want to write and draw better!)
So. Regretful news, my friends... for the first time in my life, I have racked up an insane library fine. I was thinking upon the cost of this, as I have not actually looked at what the balance is... and it's probably the amount of one of my paychecks from Carvel. (Which isn't a lot for a paycheck... but is a fortune for a library fine.) Honestly, I don't know how I did that... and on books for SCHOOL too. Does anybody remember when there was a ton of controversy over the arrest of many for overdue books? I do... and it wasn't pretty.
All that to say, I need a break!
