I'm sitting on my mom's computer to kill some time until I leave. Everyone's packed and all that; we're just waiting on Jeff to get home from working.
I really don't want to go to Illinois for Thanksgiving. If I had my way, I'd be staying home... even if that meant everyone else still went. I'm going to do a lot of reading. I have some papers to write, so maybe I'll get those mostly done, as well.
I've been shopping around amazon today. There's a few books that definitely need to be added to my library. I really want the Madeline L'Engle books... at least most of them. Ring of Endless Light and A Wrinkle in Time. I think I've read each of those at least 3 times. I don't know what it was... the first time I read A Wrinkle in Time was second grade. Then my teacher in third grade read it aloud to us in class. Those books just don't get old to me. It could quite possibly be because I could picture those worlds in my head so vividly. Maybe I'll re-read them soon.
I'm tired. No doubt: I will be sleeping in the car. My brother and I picked out a few movies and so did my dad. My dad picked some war documentaries... boring ones by nameless directors... sure to send me into a snooze immediately. Maybe I'll just nap for the next half hour.
I hope all of you have a terrific thanksgiving! Best wishes!
